Escape into one of the most breathtaking and peaceful landscapes in the Columbia Valley. As your canoe, kayak or paddleboard glides through the calm waters of the Columbia Wetlands, the noise of town disappears and you'll find yourself immersed in a world of one of the largest intact wetlands in North America.

The Wetlands are famous for their incredible birdlife and wildlife viewing opportunities, these wetlands are a crucial resting and feeding ground for over 230 migratory and native bird species. Watch for osprey soaring overhead, bald eagles perched in the treetops, great blue herons stalking the shoreline, and the occasional beaver, deer or turtle if you’re lucky.

The water is calm, making this experience ideal for families, couples, photographers, bird watchers, and anyone looking for a relaxing outdoor adventure. A two hour rental is an ideal time for a leisurely exploration.

My friend and I are from Australia and this was the first time we have Kayaked in Canada. Safe to say kayaking along Lake Windermere was such an awesome experience. It was a beautiful blue bird day and we saw a little beaver.
Byron was a legend as well and made the experience a hoot!!

We rented two SUPs yesterday and had a great experience. The boards were great quality and we had fun with them, of course, but we were really impressed with the service. Tegan helped us get set up with our rentals and she was awesome. We were short on time as we had to get the boards back at a specific time, so she was really quick getting us out on the water while still giving us a ton of information about what we would be able to see out paddling. When we got back to shore, a super friendly man told us where we could put our stuff, took our names, and we were off again with no fuss. Loved it and would do it again!

We were looking for something to do with our 12 & 13 year olds, and decided to rent a canoe. When we arrived we found despite being busy, they were extremely well organized. We got a quick overview from a friendly gentleman, and down to the dock we went. The man waiting for us was FANTASTIC!!! He explained how to paddle to the kids when I told him they were unsure. He was patient and took the time to guide them through the grip and how to paddle effectively. We would rent from these guys again for sure. Thanks everyone!
